1. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited and constitute service abuse:
1.1 Illegal Activities
- Distribution, transmission, or storage of illegal content
- Copyright infringement, piracy, or unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material
- Accessing or attempting to access unauthorized systems or networks
- Any activity that violates local, state, or federal laws
1.2 Network Abuse
- Excessive bandwidth consumption that degrades network performance for other users
- Running servers, hosting services, or peer-to-peer applications on residential plans
- Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks or similar activities
- Port scanning, network probing, or unauthorized network access attempts
- Spamming, phishing, or sending unsolicited bulk communications
1.3 Security Violations
- Attempting to breach security measures of any system or network
- Spreading malware, viruses, or malicious software
- Unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- Impersonation or identity theft
1.4 Content Violations
- Distribution of obscene, defamatory, or harmful content
- Content that promotes violence, hate speech, or discrimination
- Child exploitation or illegal adult content
- Content that violates intellectual property rights
2. Fair Usage Policy
2.1 Residential Plans
While our residential plans offer unlimited data, customers are expected to use services for personal, non-commercial purposes. Prohibited activities include:
- Running commercial servers or hosting services
- Excessive peer-to-peer file sharing that impacts network performance
- Reselling or sharing connection with third parties
- Using residential plans for business purposes
2.2 Bandwidth Management
WeSpeedNet reserves the right to:
- Monitor network usage patterns
- Implement traffic management during peak hours
- Limit excessive bandwidth consumption that affects other users
- Contact customers about unusual usage patterns
3. Detection and Monitoring
WeSpeedNet employs various methods to detect abuse:
- Network monitoring and traffic analysis
- Automated systems to detect unusual patterns
- Reports from customers, law enforcement, or third parties
- Compliance with legal requests and court orders
Note: We respect customer privacy and only monitor network traffic for abuse detection and network management purposes.
4. Consequences of Abuse
Violation of this policy may result in one or more of the following actions:
4.1 Warning
First-time minor violations may result in a written warning and request to cease the activity.
4.2 Service Suspension
Repeated violations or serious offenses may result in temporary service suspension until the issue is resolved.
4.3 Service Termination
Severe violations, repeated offenses, or failure to comply with warnings may result in permanent service termination without refund.
4.4 Legal Action
Illegal activities will be reported to appropriate law enforcement agencies, and WeSpeedNet will cooperate with legal proceedings.
4.5 Financial Liability
Customers may be held financially liable for damages caused by abuse, including network repair costs and legal fees.
5. Reporting Abuse
If you suspect abuse of WeSpeedNet services, please report it to us:

- We investigate all abuse reports promptly and take appropriate action
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- All activities conducted through their connection
- Securing their network and devices
- Ensuring authorized users comply with this policy
- Reporting suspected security breaches or unauthorized access
- Keeping account credentials secure
7. Legitimate Use Cases
The following activities are permitted and encouraged:
- Web browsing, email, and communication
- Streaming video and music from legitimate services
- Online gaming
- Video conferencing and remote work
- Cloud storage and backup services
- Downloading software and updates
- Any legal activity that doesn't harm network performance
8. Business vs Residential Usage
8.1 Residential Plans
Intended for personal, non-commercial use. If you need to run servers, host websites, or use services for business purposes, please subscribe to our Business Broadband or Leased Line plans.
8.2 Business Plans
Business plans allow commercial use, server hosting, and higher bandwidth consumption within plan limits. However, all prohibited activities listed in Section 1 still apply.
9. Appeals Process
If you believe your service was suspended or terminated in error:
- Contact our customer support with your account details
- Provide explanation and evidence supporting your case
- We will review your appeal within 5-7 business days
- If the appeal is successful, service will be restored
10. Policy Updates
This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or business practices. Customers will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
